Ting Zou currently works as the CTO and Deputy General Manager for Mirantis Great China, where as an OpenStack evangelist to help enterprise customers quickly adopt OpenStack OpenCloud, he has built an elite technical team of OpenStack for Mirantis and expand the business into different sectors including FSI, Telco, Government in a very short period. Ting also helps to promote Openstack in Chinese community via leveraging Mirantis’s global expertise and engineering experience. Before Ting relocated back to Beijing China in Jan 2015, Ting had been living and working in Silicon Valley California for past 16 years and most recently he worked in Huawei US R&D center as the Director of R&D Cloud Data Center responsible for bringing the latest ICT R&D engineering methodologies/tools and best practices into Huawei's current R&D processes including OpenStack cloud computing R&D infrastructure and PaaS/DevOps environment. Before Huawei, Ting has worked as senior management/architect roles in cloud computing, converged infrastructure, networking and enterprise campus/data center solution for several silicon valley based companies such as EMC, Cisco, Juniper. Ting received his Master degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California, US and Bachelor degree from Peking University, China with several US/China patens.
