Shashi is part of a small product team for Vyatta (now part of Brocade), a company that created the first networking software for the virtual space with an open source history. Her main areas of focus are Virtualization, Cloud technologies, performance, virtualized data center architectures, and Network Function Virtualization. Shashi has 17+ years of experience in the networking industry starting as a software developer at Cisco (embedded systems, IKE/IPSEC, GETVPN) and moving to Aruba Networks as a technical marketing engineer. The few years she spent in Cisco?s Customer Advocacy group in Europe also makes her a strong advocate for the customer.
